our philosophy
At The Gingerbread House, we respect children as individuals. We understand that the first five years of a child's life is an amazing time of growth and learning that serves as a foundation for future stages of development. Our childcare center and our staff of dedicated teachers follow and teach to the standards of the "Creative Curriculum" which follows four areas of development; social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. We strive to meet the individual needs of every child while providing hands-on learning and investigation in art, music, math, science, reading, and writing.

The Gingerbread House is a family run business and all of my children attended since the time they were infants. My children were always cared for, nurtured, and educated in fun and engaging ways. They enjoyed their teachers and always came home with crafts and artwork. It's a lovely place to send your child.
